Breathing in smoke is bad for you, whether that smoke comes from cigarettes, wood stoves, or a burn pile in the back yard. In the heat of the Washington summer, however, there are also health impacts from smoke related to wildfires. According to news reports, 2017 was a record-breaking year for wildfires in Washington State. It’s important to understand that while research efforts to better understand specific health impacts are underway, much is still not fully understood. Plan to attend Tools, Treasures, Treats & Cider, the second day of the Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County's first tool and bake sale to raise money to support the new MRC Tool Bucket Library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Floral Park Sustainability Park, 103 E. Floral St., Centralia. This second day of the sale will feature a cider press where members of the public are invited to bring their own apples and containers. Court Location Juvenile Court hearings will be held at Juvenile Court located at 1255 SW Pacific Ave. Before Entering The Courtroom Please leave all non-essential items at home or in your vehicle before entry.Check in at the front counter.No food, drink or gum in the courtroom.Turn off cell phones and pagers.Remove any hat or non-prescription sunglasses.Wear clean, appropriate clothing. Pajamas and baggy clothing are inappropriate. In The Courtroom Stand when the judge enters the courtroom.Do not have side discussions with others while waiting your turn.Be respectful when addressing the court.Always answer verbally when spoken to.
