    Full closures of SR 508 start Monday, Sept. 20 & extend thru Oct 1 MORTON – Drivers on SR 508 near Mosswood Road (milepost 29.8) will encounter full daytime closures of the highway the next few weeks for an ongoing erosion repair and prevention project. SR 508 will be fully closed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20 through Friday, Oct 1 while crews use a large crane to set the major pieces of an erosion prevention structure in place.     Residents can drop off their Christmas trees and burned out holiday lights from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the parking lot outside the Centralia transfer station at 1411 S.
