1. Transfer Stations are open, but County business offices are closed

    Lewis County business offices, including the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility Administration Office at the transfer station in Centralia, are closed today in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. The transfer stations in Centralia and Morton, however, are open today. Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will be closed on the actual Veterans Day holiday, Saturday, Nov. 11.

    The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking an individual actively involved in farming to serve on the Lewis County Open Space Advisory Committee.The five-member Open Space Advisory Committee represents the region’s farming community and serves in an advisory capacity to the Lewis County Assessor.
