Lewis County Fire Marshal issues outdoor burning restrictions

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) program that educates residents about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. CERT members are trained to safely respond to an emergency on the family, neighborhood and community level, and can provide assistance when first responders are unavailable. Lewis County Building Official and Fire Marshal Doyle Sanford in his office in Chehalis. CHEHALIS – Lewis County and many of its cities are experiencing boom time construction growth.
