    Residents may drop of household hazardous waste for free from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the East Lewis County Transfer Station, 6745 U.S. Hwy 12, just east of Morton. Examples of household hazardous materials that can be dropped off are cleaners, lawn, garden, and pool chemicals.     RCW 84.33Land owners who wish current use assessment for property tax purposes on lands eligible for classification under the Designated Forest Land program must submit an application to the Lewis County Assessor's Office by December 31st.
