    Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 10 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596. They can bring in up to 10 fluorescent lights, 5 gallons of motor oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, and 5 gallons of cooking oil per household. No containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted.     On 04/10/12 the Lewis County Coroner’s Office was awarded accreditation through the International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners (IACME). This process began in 2011 and culminated with the inspection process on 04/10/12.     The City of Vader is hosting its annual Chips for Trails Event at McMurphy Park on Annonen Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19.
