    RCW 84.34Land owners who wish current use assessment for property tax purposes on lands eligible for classification under the Open Space program, must submit an application to the Lewis County Assessor's Office by December 31st.     Lewis County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of household hazardous waste and recycle several items for free at a special event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 10 at the Lewis County Road Shop, 111 Pleasant Valley Road, Winlock, WA 98596. They can bring in up to 10 fluorescent lights, 5 gallons of motor oil, 5 gallons of antifreeze, and 5 gallons of cooking oil per household. No containers larger than 5 gallons will be accepted.
