Community Recycle Events, Repair & Sustainability Fair, Workshops
Lewis County is working with cities and communities to offer free recycling events and opportunities to properly dispose of certain materials. Please see the Schedule of Events for 2026 listed below.The events are offered to Lewis County residents only, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If some recycling containers fill up on the day of the event, that particular recycling opportunity may be closed due to storage and space limitations. Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is administered by Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (PHSS). WIC services assure healthy pregnancies, healthy birth outcomes, and healthy growth and development for women, infants, and children up to age five. WIC is available at the Public Health Building, 360 NW North Street in downtown Chehalis. WIC staff also make monthly visits to Randle, Mossyrock, and Winlock. GIS Mapping
GIS stands for Geographic Information System, a computer application that permits geographic and location-related data to be electronically stored and spatially referenced. A GIS allows for digital mapping of land features such as roads, rivers, drainage basins, soil types, hydrology, topography, land use and urban and district boundaries.
