Lewis County youth to design Youth Mentorship Program logo
The Lewis County Youth Mentorship Program would like a local youth to design an official program logo. All Lewis County youth that are 17 years and younger are encouraged to take part. All entries should be emailed to Youth Mentorship Program Coordinator Lisa Leon at lisa.leon@lewiscountywa.gov.

Haily Cheney, 15 of Chehalis, was located by Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office deputies shortly before midnight. Lewis County Sheriff’s Office detectives had uncovered information Cheney may have been with a former significant other, Zachary Jordan Drazner, 19 last known to be of Oregon. Leaf Exchange & Styrofoam Recycling Event
Rake up and bag your leaves so gardeners and composters can put them to good use. Bagged leaves may be dropped off on the event day. Leaves will be available for pickup each day on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. You can also drop off your block and food-service Styrofoam during the event. Make sure the Styrofoam is clean, dry and free of tape. Put each type in clear plastic bags for drop-off. WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composter volunteers will be on hand to inspect material for drop off and to help the event run smoothly.
