Scrap Metal Recycling Event near Vader and Winlock today
Lewis County residents may recycle scrap metal and household appliances for free at the old solid waste drop box at 1105 Winlock-Vader Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 7 at a special recycling event organized by the City of Vader and Lewis County Solid Waste Utility. Household appliances accepted in the recycling containers at the event include washers, dryers, hot water heaters, stoves/ranges, and dish washers. WSU AgWeatherNet: a tool to plan and manage farm operations
The new Chehalis weather station that is part of the WSU AgWeatherNet system is a local resource for farmers and producers to plan and track weather conditions for weed control treatments and other farm management practices. The weather station was installed at the Chehalis Airport in February, 2016 to provide current and historical weather data. The data can be observed from a mobile phone or your desktop computer at http://weather.wsu.edu.
