In partnership with the Washington State Attorney General's Office, this course is provided for commissioners and board members to help meet an important training requirement of the Open Government Trainings Act. MRC Tool Bucket Library Open House
The Master Recycler Composters of Lewis County have officially opened the MRC Tool Bucket Library and the Floral Park Sustainability Park. They are inviting the public to an open house from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 22 at Floral Park Sustainability Project, 103 E. Floral St., Centralia, to learn about both community programs. The tool library is just like a book library, but it offers tools for checkout. INTERNSHIPS: The Lewis County Coroner's Office does accept students as interns as long as they are enrolled in a college or university that is accredited through the US Department of Education as well as the College for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). This office does not accept applications or inquiries directly from students. Students must go through their school internship or co-operative coordinator to apply for an internship. If a student is attending a school that has not yet established an internship agreement with this office, they are to have a school representative contact this office to set one up. The …
