  6. Chips for Trails Event in Vader

    The City of Vader is hosting its annual Chips for Trails Event at McMurphy Park on Annonen Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19. Lewis County residents can drop off chippable branches and limbs that are no larger than 6 inches in diameter. This material will be chipped to spread on park trails.     Sensitive Document Shredding Event at the Community Recycle Event at the old Winlock Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road, Winlock: The mobile shredding truck will be on site from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may bring up to 3 bags or boxes or sensitive documents they would like to have shredded. There is no charge for this service. The shredded paper will be hauled to a paper recycling facility for processing.
