  2. Chips for Trails Event in Vader

    The City of Vader is hosting its annual Chips for Trails Event at McMurphy Park on Annonen Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19. Lewis County residents can drop off chippable branches and limbs that are no larger than 6 inches in diameter. This material will be chipped to spread on park trails.     WSU Lewis Co. MRC Volunteers invite you to stop by the Floral Park Sustainability Project, 104 E. Floral St., Centralia, to learn more about, the MRC Tool Bucket Library and how to become a volunteer for the environment. Light refreshments will be served. Anyone, at least age 18, is eligible to sign up for a 3-month trial membership to the Tool Bucket Library.
