Personal Property Personal property's primary characteristic is its mobility. It includes machinery, equipment and furniture associated with commercial, industrial or agricultural enterprises. Business inventories are exempt from property tax.Everyone who uses personal property in a business must complete a personal property affidavit by April 30 each year per RCW 84.40.185, RCW 84.40.190, and WAC 458-12-060. 2016 Budget is Adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
The 2016 budget was adopted on December 7th, 2015. This action culminates five months of collective work by all departments and elected offices in Lewis County. Budget meetings were held in September and October which allowed each elected official and department director to discuss their individual budgets with the County Commissioners.
