Open House set for Lewis County Transportation improvement projects

CHEHALIS – The efforts to alleviate local traffic congestion continues. Lewis County Public Works, the City of Centralia and Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) are hosting an open house to provide citizens with an update on the Reynolds Avenue/Harrison Avenue Corridor Improvement Project and the North Lewis County Industrial Access Transportation Study.

The open house is 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. April 20 at Fort Borst Park in Centralia, kitchen #1, to present the public with preliminary plans and exhibits developed for improvement of the Reynolds Avenue and Harrison Avenue Corridor, extending from the Pearl St. (SR 507) intersection to the Kuper Rd.-Goodrich Rd. intersection.

WSDOT’s North Lewis County Industrial Access Transportation Study will also be discussed at the open house.

In addition to preliminary plans and exhibits, a questionnaire will also be made available to citizens on specific project questions as well as to provide comments or questions citizens believe are relevant to development of the projects and/or their specific properties.
