Construction moves forward on bringing high-speed internet service to parts of south Lewis County

WINLOCK - The Winlock-area broadband expansion project is a public-private partnership between Lewis County and ToledoTel with the assistance of a $23.5 million grant from the Washington State Broadband Office including $2.3 million from ToledoTel.

Robinson Brothers Construction began work along Lane Dr. and Meier Rd. in Winlock, with hopes of extending the future network by adding three miles each week. The first fiber-optic connections to homes and businesses are expected in the spring or summer of 2024.
