Lewis County and Veterans across the state to be honored

You're invited to the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Event - 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30 on the Washington State Capitol Campus in Olympia.

The ceremony at the Vietnam Memorial will honor our Vietnam veterans and welcome them home. Commemorative pins will be provided to Vietnam veterans and spouses.

The Lacey Gold Star Memorial Foundation dedication of the Lacey Gold Star Families Memorial Monument, is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Friday March 31 at the Lacey Civic Plaza, 521 Sleater Kinney Rd SE in Lacey.

If you are a Gold Star family member, please check in at the Gold Star family table upon your arrival. Individual and sponsor bricks in honor of veterans and their families are expected to be installed before Memorial Day.
