Volunteer Program

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office Volunteers are invaluable to the Sheriff’s Office. They are a group of citizen volunteers who give their time and talents to serve the Lewis County Sheriff's Office in many ways. They contribute to the ability of the commissioned officers to perform the duties of their positions and provide a service that contributes to the quality of life in our community. They help make Lewis County a great place to live, work and raise our families by supporting the Mission and Code of Ethics of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

“We really value our Support Volunteers and appreciate the time and effort they put into helping the Sheriff’s Office meet its mission in making this community a safer place to work, live, and play. With our dwindling resources, the volunteers help us fill in the gaps to ensure we are actively involved in community events and programs,” says Sheriff Rob Snaza.
