County seeks volunteer to serve on the Civil Service Commission

The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Lewis County Civil Service Commission.

The commission is required to meet at least monthly. Each term is six years and is effective January 1, 2022.

Applications are due by 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021. Applications are available online at:

To apply, please submit an application and a letter of interest to BOCC Clerk of the Board Rieva Lester in one of the following three ways:

  • By mail at 351 N.W. North St., Chehalis, WA 98532.
  • Via email at Committees@LewisCountywa.gov (please include Civil Service in the subject line).
  • In person at the Commissioners’ Office in Room 210 of the historic courthouse at 351 N.W. North St. in Chehalis.
