Commissioners seek volunteer to represent District 2 on Planning Commission
The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking a volunteer to represent District 2 on the Lewis County Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission assists Lewis County’s Community Development department in carrying out its duties, including helping prepare and execute the Comprehensive Plan and helping adopt development regulations. The Planning Commission – which is made up of seven members who each serve four-year terms – meets twice a month (6 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month). A Zoom option is available for the group’s meetings.
Applications are due by 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

Individuals interested in serving on the Planning Commission should submit an application and a letter of interest to BOCC Clerk of the Board Rieva Lester in one of the following three ways:
- By mail at 351 N.W. North St., Chehalis, WA 98532.
- Via email at Committees@LewisCountywa.gov (please include Planning Commission in the subject line).
- In person at the Commissioners’ Office in Room 210 of the historic courthouse at 351 N.W. North St. in Chehalis.
