Board seeks applications for use of 2020 hotel / motel lodging tax funds
The Board of County Commissioners is accepting – on behalf of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) – applications for the use of lodging tax funds for the 2020 budget year from organizations whose programs or activities promote tourism in the unincorporated areas of Lewis County.
"Tourism promotion" means activities, operations and expenditures designed to increase tourism, including but not limited to advertising, publicizing or otherwise distributing information for the purpose of attracting and welcoming tourists; developing strategies to expand tourism; operating tourism promotion agencies; and funding the marketing of or the operation of special events and festivals designed to attract tourists.
Applications are due by 3 p.m. Oct. 3, 2019. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Applications must be submitted via email to email@example.com. Please include your organization's name in the subject line.
