Transfer Stations are open, but County business offices are closed
Lewis County business offices, including the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility Administration Office at the transfer station in Centralia, are closed today in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. The transfer stations in Centralia and Morton, however, are open today. Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will be closed on the actual Veterans Day holiday, Saturday, Nov. 11.

PPE Resource Requests for Dental Offices
The Lewis County Emergency Operations Center would like to support the local Lewis County Dental offices as they struggle to obtain the personal protective equipment (PPE) required to safely reopen.Unfortunately, because of current supply chain issues and high demand for N95 Masks, many offices are struggling to meet the requirements set for reopening. The Emergency Operations Team is able to allocate to each dentist office an allotment of N95 Masks, along with directions to utilize Batelle’s decontamination process through our local Valley View Medical Center.
