The Washington Invasive Species Council provides information on pest threats to recruit natural resource and agricultural professional along with nature enthusiasts to recognize and report new, invasive species. Early detection of new species increases the chance of eradication. This talk will discuss new pests of concern and offer tools to recognize and report any potential new invasive species, including threats from wood boring beetle, the Aisan Giant Hornet and other key pests. --Todd Murray, Puyallup Research and Extension Center, Washington State University
