Weed Board Vacancy
Contribute to the operations, safety, and sustainability of the
County’s Noxious Weed Control Board.
The Lewis County Noxious Weed Control
Board has a vacancy on its five members Board.
The vacancy occurs in weed district 4 which includes the communities of
Mossyrock, Onalaska and Salkum.
Duties
of the Board include adoption of the County Weed list and providing direction
for Weed Board programs. The Board
positions are four-year terms that shall be filled by a person engaged in
agricultural practices. Noxious Weed
Control Board positions are non-paid, volunteer positions. Meetings are held as determined by the Board.
Persons interested in appointment to
the Board shall make a written application that includes the signature of at
least ten registered voters also residing within the district from which they
