Chapter 6 of the Plan covers the management of hazardous waste generated by residents and small businesses in Lewis County. This chapter covers the collection and disposal of: leftover paint; household cleaners; lawn and garden chemicals and fertilizers; batteries; lights containing mercury; used oil and antifreeze; and hazardous waste generated by small businesses.
Chapter 6 has been revised by the staff of the Solid Waste Utility and members of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee. The Washington State Department of Ecology has reviewed and made comments on the revision.
