Tire Recycling Event in Centralia & Winlock March 13

Two free tire recycling events will be held on 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at two Lewis County locations. One collection event will take place at the City of Winlock Public Works Department, 712 NW Dexter Avenue, Winlock, and the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds, 1909 S. Gold St., Centralia. The events, which are for Lewis County residents only, will accept 15 tires per person, passenger and light truck tires on or off the rim, and semi-truck tires off the rim. Be prepared to show identification. Please do not bring tires from businesses, semi-truck tires on the rim, or heavy equipment tires. Sponsors are Lewis County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Utility Division; the City of Winlock; Southwest Washington Fairgrounds; Lewis County Health & Social Services, Code Enforcement Division, and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
