Community Recycle Event in Toledo

Toledo volunteers along with the Lewis County Solid Waste Utility, and the Lewis County Parks & Recreation Department are offering a Community Recycle Event in Toledo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 29 at South County Regional Park. During the event, Lewis County residents will have the opportunity to drop off scrap metal, appliances (two per household, please), glass bottles and jars, unwanted household hazardous waste, TVs (two per household, please), computer monitors, CPUs, fluorescent lights (up to 10 per household, please), and passenger or light truck tires (up to 12 per household). These recycling opportunities will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis as long as room is available in the containers.
