County seeks applicant for Public Health and Social Services Advisory Board

The Lewis County Board of Health is seeking applications for the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services Advisory Board. Currently there are two (2) open positions. One position for a medical provider. And one at-large position for someone with a general interested in investigating local health policy and providing recommendations regarding health matters in Lewis County. All positions must be filled by Lewis County residents.

The eleven-member volunteer board focuses and provides recommendations to the Board of Health on a variety of community health, environmental health, and social services issues. Meetings are held monthly for 60 minutes. Members serve three-year terms. Upon review, applications will be presented to the Lewis County Board of Health at an upcoming Board of Health meeting.
