Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative

Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative (SSODA) is a disposition alternative that typically lasts for up to three years and involves intense sex offender treatment. By accepting the program, the youth are allowed to stay in the community during their treatment while being closely monitored. Treatment usually includes weekly meetings with their probation officer, weekly meetings with a sex offender therapist, and they are subject to polygraph evaluations to ensure compliance.
