Travel by rail is a particularly convenient method of travel for visitors to Centralia. Throughout the day and evening, Amtrak stops at Centralia s beautiful historic depot. The beautifully restored 1912 depot is one of the nation's most dazzling train depots, and is often referred to as the jewel of the West Coast rail system.

Twin Transit is a public transit system in the cities of Centralia and Chehalis in Lewis County, Washington. It operates four routes between and around those cities.
Centralia's Vintage Trolley is available to provide a unique form of transportation for visiting groups. The trolley accommodates up to 35 people, and is a fun way to travel around Centralia's numerous shopping, dining and historic venues. Not ADA approved.
Centralia / Chehalis Airport
The Chehalis-Centralia Airport (CLS) is a local corporate and general aviation airport in Chehalis serving Lewis County and the surrounding area. The 5,000’ x 150’ concrete runway can accommodate all aircraft up to medium size business jets. The airport sees approximately 48,000 annual operations and has 100 based aircraft including twin engine jets. 24hour card lock fuel and maintenance is available along with a new pilots lounge providing an internet computer, weather, cable tv, restrooms, and vending machines. An 18 hole golf course is located next door to the airport (www.playriversidegolf.com) along with many restaurants and stores. CLS is a non-controlled airport and traffic advisories should be made on the Unicom frequency 122.80; AWOS weather can be obtained on 118.02 or 360-740-5164.
