Department of Licensing Subagents
This information is meant to give the Location and Hours of Vehicle Sub-agents within Lewis County. Please call (360) 740-1162 for further information.
The Department of Licensing authorizes the County to appoint sub-agents to assist in the processing of vehicle transactions. As the sub-agents are independent businesses that receive no remuneration from the State, they are authorized to charge a "sub-agent fee" for processing of vehicle transactions. The fee is $5.00 on renewal transactions and $12.00 on title transactions. In 2015, new fees went into effect statewide that made the fees paid at a sub-agent the same as the fees paid at an Auditor's Office.
