Note: Although acceptable in Lewis County, the following Excise tax forms may not be accepted in all counties. Please check with your county before completing these forms. Please print and complete four copies of the Real Estate Excise Tax Affidavit.
The minimum payment to process a REET Affidavit is $10.00.
The Treasurer's office does not process property transfers after 4 PM. This is to ensure that we have enough time to thoroughly review and process real estate transactions and for documents to be recorded by the Auditor's office prior to closing.
