Rural Drop Boxes

ATTENTION! THE pACKWOOD SITE is CLOSED PERMANENTLY. Please use the morton Transfer Station. (2 miles east of Morton on US Hwy 12.)

 tHE WINLOCK SITE WILL BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY ON NOVEMBER 1ST 2009.

tHE TOLEDO SITE WILL BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY ON NOVEMBER 1ST 2009.

THE ONALASKA SITE WILL BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY ON NOVEMBER 1ST 2009.

All rural solid waste drop box sites offer limited recycling opportunities. See note above all recycling will cease upon closure of listed sites. Please call 1-800-525-4167

Materials accepted for free recycling:

Clear, brown, and green glass bottles & jars, separated by color. No ceramic or window glass.

All Drop Boxes accept:

  • Appliances: $10.36 each (Refrigerator and freezer doors must be removed.)
    Passenger tires with rims: $5.18 each
  • Passenger tires without rims:$3.11 each
    Truck tires:$8.29 each

Curbside garbage and Recycling Pickup

Curbside garbage pick-up is available to all Lewis County residences. Recycling pick-up is available to Lewis County Residents from the western border of the county to the City of Morton. Please Contact LeMay for more information:(360) 736-4769 or (800) 525-4167.

Drop Box Tipping Fees

  • Note: All tipping fees include the 3.6% state solid waste tax.
    Minimum Fee: $7.50
    32 Gallon Can: $7.50 each
    LooseGarbage: $47.25 per cubic yard
    Bulk items:$23.00 each
  • Burn Barrels: $8.00 each
