New Website FAQ

The County is launching a completely new website and as a result most of the old links to our pages will no longer work. In addition, all of our interactive applications (Calls for Bid, Small Works Roster, maps, etc) need to be reprogrammed to work on the new site. We understand how frustrating it can be to have your regular online resources altered and we are working hard to minimize that amount of disruption. Please be patient as we fine tune these pages and programs over the next few days.

Some things should look familiar: To the left we list all of the Divisions & Sections within our Department and include descriptions of what each does. We are also creating special pages below them to highlight our most commonly requested information and hottest topics... Permit/application forms, Improvement Program list, Current Projects, Contracting opportunities, and maps.

New Features: We will posting news items through this blog and Public Works related events on our calendar. We also have two Frequently asked question sections... one for Solid Waste and another for the rest of Public Works. In the end, we hope that once you have had a chance to look around at the new site, you will find it easier to find the information you need than on the previous site.
