2010 Budget Document is Now Online

The 2010 Budget document has been completed and is available online. In order to reduce costs for this year only a few hard copies were printed.

Some of the improvements to this year’s document include:
An expansion of the Budget Summary section to include the budget purpose, process and policies. The addition of the 2010-2011 budget calendar on pg. 13. Descriptions of the county Financial Structure and Fund Types as well as 2009 Accomplishments and 2010 Goals tied to the updated 2009-2012 Lewis County Strategic Plan. An estimated five year Financial Forecast is included on pgs. 42-43.

For an overview of capital projects for the County please see the Capital Budget on pgs. 219-273. The capital budget describes each capital project that affects the 2010 budget as well as a six-year forecast of revenue sources and capital costs. 

Under Appendix A we've added "What's Happening in Lewis County" pgs. 278-279; "Lewis County Commissioners Committees and Appointments - 2010" pg. 280. Staffing Trends and a listing of staffing changes are included in Appendix B pgs. 287-288.

It is our hope that this document will provide you with insight into how the County is allocating funds and assist in meaningful dialog with your Elected Officials.
