The Lewis County Auditor's Office has partnered with our County IT Department to come up with new ways to present election results to citizens who come to the courthouse on election night. There will be three screens displaying the election results. There will also be the ability to use the county's wifi network to connect citizens' phones to the election results website. We will also have a QR code available that will automatically direct you to the election results website.
Lewis County now has six ballot drop box locations: Centralia College, Chehalis Ave. Drive-up Drop Box, Lewis County Auditor's Office, Twin Cities Senior Center, Toledo Senior Center and Morton Senior Center.
A new drive-up ballot drop box has been installed near the Courthouse in Chehalis. The Chehalis Ave. Drive-up Drop Box is located at 242 NW Chehalis Ave., Chehalis, WA. The ballot drop box will be open for any election which involves area jurisdictions. After the ballots have been mailed out to voters, the drop box will be available 24 hours per day until 8 p.m. on election night.
The Lewis County Auditor's Office now offers the ability for brides and grooms to begin the marriage application process from the comfort of their homes. By clicking on the link below, applicants will be able to fill in the necessary information for the marriage application and certificate.
After completely filling in all fields and pressing submit, the applicants will be given a marriage application number to bring with them to the Auditor's Office. Applicants will need to bring the number, valid government issued I.D., and cash or check for $66.00.
